How it works

Your existing inbox, now encrypted end to end.

ProtectMyMail sits on the mail provider you already use — Gmail, Outlook, or any IMAP inbox. Once connected, everything you receive and send runs through the plugin encrypted. With the Scan add-on, incoming attachments are checked for malware and blocked before they reach you.

Honest about what this does

End-to-end encryption applies between ProtectMyMail users (plugin to plugin). Mail to and from ordinary providers is bridged and labelled honestly — verified, authenticated, or unverified — so a guess is never shown as a fact.

Scanning lowers risk; no scanner blocks every threat. Suspicious mail is flagged, not silently deleted, so you stay in control. Exact scan capabilities are being finalised before launch.
